All bowlers who wish to take part in competitive bowling under the rules of the BCGBA (league bowling, competitive bowling, etc.) must have a BCGBA number. These can be acquired for £10 from a county registrar and is a one-off life time fee to become a member of the BCGBA. For Salford League members, you should apply via your club for a number – from this season, no bowlers will be allowed to bowl unless they have at least submitted their application for BCGBA membership.
Please note that for men and ladies there are normally two separate routes; both get assigned a BCGBA from the county registrar but for the moment, all applications should go through Jack Turner, as per the mens GMCCGBA handbook
