Next Meeting: Monday 18th March 7:30pm at North Chadd

The late 90s and early 00s would prove to be a halcyon period for Greater Manchester as 2000 saw us repeat our success against Yorkshire. Both sides would win their home legs by greater margins, but 21-9 away wins for Mike Knowles and Gary Ellis would prove the key to restricting Yorkshire to 21 chalks in their home leg. 2004 saw Jim Derby as our away team opener and a middle order performance at Wharton Cons from Steve Copeland, Mike Gee, Andy Lowe, Lee Turner and Glen Beeley would see us add the away win to a home leg win at Springbank. 2006 saw the trophy in our hands again as the home team did the damamge; Dave Walker, Nicky Brooks and the late, great Peter Craig all won to single figures. 21-8 wins for Mike Gee and Gary Ellis away from home blunted Staffordshire's charge sufficiently for a comfortable 30-chalk win.
