There are traditionally four Junior competitions run by Greater Manchester throughout the year; these are:

• Presidents Handicap to be played at Hopwood Sports club 14th Sept at 11am all juniors welcome
• Rhodes Scrolls Singles ( Norden BC 11th May)

The winner and runner-up in the Junior Merit both qualify for the BCGBA Junior Merit, a one-day competition held on a rotational basis

In 2020, the Junior County team are drawn in a league with NL?F Potteries & District , Lancs & Cumbria Having lost a lot of bowlers over the last two years due to them turning 18, we had to blood a lot of younger bowlers and give them a taste of representative bowling. We're on a big learning curve for many of the bowlers.
