The Greater Manchester senior county team is a team that represents the county at the highest level of team competition. County matches consist of two teams of 12 and play against other counties, with teams playing at venues chosen by both counties. No bowlers are allowed to be homesters of the club/green where the matches take place.
If you are interested in representing the county then please get in touch with a member of the selection committee. Those on the committee are the two team managers (Keith Rudman and Colin Price) and the Senior Team Coordinator (John McDowell) at the moment the captains will be selected by the 2 managers in due course along with anyone else they wish to co-opt to help them .
Senior county matches take place on the first Sunday of the month from May to July and, subject to qualification, the semi finals are in August and the final in September. With your support at home games we want to add to our proud history of title wins
